Sharapova wins and you're in the second round of Wimbledon





The Russian won 6-1 6-4 against Su-Wei of Taipei.

London, 29 June-the maximum favorite for the title, the Russian Maria Sharapova took a step more towards its goal and this Friday to qualify to the second round of the Wimbledon tournament after overcoming uncomplicated to Hsieh Su-Wei of Taipei.

Sharapova, Monarch here in 2004 and runner-up last year, had an overwhelming start, and although his rival wanted to react in the second round, won without complications by 6-1, 6-4 after one hour and 21 minutes of play.

In a duel that took place in the Court one of the All England Club, the Siberian was strong in the first few minutes and after specified three service breaks took advantage.

But in the second round Roland Garros champion a few weeks ago made some mistakes - five double faults - that allowed the reaction of the Taiwanese, who improved on the first set but was not enough.

The winner finished with six breaks in his favour, three aces and five double faults, while his rival dismissed the third Grand Slam of the season with two, none and two respective way, both with 57 per cent of effectiveness in your service.

His opponent in the fourth round will be the German Sabine Lisicki, fifteenth in the preferences, who left on the road to the American Sloane Stephens in three sets, 7-6 (7/5), 1-6, 6-2 in one hour and 52 minutes.

Meanwhile, for the second round match, Jana Cepelova Slovak beated in a hard-fought game to Spanish Anabel Medina Garrigues, 6-7 (7/9), 7-6 (7/5) and 6-3, and will face in his next duel the Belarusian Victoria Azarenka.
